Flights leave everyday from San José arriving to the two nearest airports in the area: the Quepos airport (2 hours north of Uvita) and the Palmar Sur airstrip (1 hour south of Uvita). We can help you rent a car that can be dropped off at either airport for you.
Option #1: Flying into Palmar Sur
Go out of Palmar Sur to the Inter-American Highway and drive across the bridge over the Térraba River, towards Palmar Norte. Drive north on the coastal highway for 46 km. You will see Uvita Information Center on your left-hand side, approximately 500 m past the bridge over the Uvita River.
Option #2: Flying into Quepos
Drive south on the coastal highway (La Costanera) for approximately 45 km until you get to Dominical. From there, drive 18 km south to Uvita. You will see Uvita Information Center on your right-hand side, approximately 1 km south of the Servicentro Bahía gas station, opposite the Banco de Costa Rica agency.
