Description: Tubing and floating in Baru River is a great tour for all ages and for all those who love nature and adventure. There are small and fun rapids. Each person will have their own individual tube, and there is a bigger inflatable for those who like to do the descent with the guide. There is a stop along the river for a picnic.

Sportfishing in the Sea
Highlights: Roosterfish, Wahoo, Marlin, Snapper, Sail fish, Tuna, Jack Crevalle.
Description: Uvita and Dominical enjoy a strategic location that allows to reach the worldwide famous fishing banks of Golfito and Quepos easily. Besides, the fact that the area had not been discovered as a sportfishing destination until recently gives a great advantage: the possibility to fish in isolated areas without a crowd of boats. There are several fishing options depending on the fish species you preferred and the season: in shore, off shore, and fly fishing.

Duration: Half Day (5 hrs), ¾ Day (7 hrs), and Full Day (9 hrs) tours are offered.

Sportfishing in the River
Highlights: Snook, Red Snapper, Rainbow Bass, Grouper.
Description: The Terraba-Sierpe Wetlands consist of the Delta of the Terraba and Sierpe rivers which has seven mouths running into the sea plus two lagoons. This is the largest wetland of Costa Rica and Central America. Over 50 fish species live in this swamp and its network of channels and islands is home to a great variety of birds, mammals, and reptiles.

Requirements: Participants must know how to swim, be able to walk in slippery or unstable ground and paddle.


Description: We work with two excellent surf schools in the area which offer lessons for beginners and intermediate surfers. They will make sure you learn the basics of surfing smoothly.
The surf school near Dominical Beach offers 2-hour lessons. You can choose between one-day classes and multi-day classes or take a surf tour.
Prices: $45 private lesson one on one $40 semi-private (2-3 people) $35 group lessons (10 people or more)
Includes: transportation, professional instructors, surf board, rash guard, fruits, and refreshments.
The school in Uvita offers 2 and a half hour classes in Ballena Marine National Park. They prefer the beaches of the National Park because they are long and isolated, there are no rip tides, and the waves have the perfect size and shape for beginners. They also offer surf trips, surf and body board rentals and ding repair.

Highlights: Turquoise waters, pristine coral and rock reef with a great variety of marine wildlife: turtles, dolphins, chances to see Humpback whales, parrot fish, king angel, barracudas, eels, reef sharks, stingrays.
Descriptions: Caño Island National Park is the most exciting and beautiful place of the South Pacific Coast of Costa Rica for scuba diving and snorkeling. It offers five dive sites some with rock pinnacles and arches. The island also has a trail to a small burial site. During the boat ride to the island (90 min), you will be able to see a great variety of marine life such as dolphins, turtles, Humpback whales. At least two different areas are explored with an experienced guide.

Highlights: Caves, birds, monkeys, sloths, breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.
Description: This tour is a lot of fun, and there are two options from which you can choose. To get to the launching point, you ride from 20 to 30 min on a comfortable van, which gives you a great chance to spot wildlife (monkeys, birds, coatimundi, anteaters) along the road.
Kayaking & Snorkeling Tour: The tour starts at Piñuelas Beach where kayaks are launched for an exciting one and a half hour paddle to Ballena Island. After a tropical lunch of fruit and cold drinks on the island, you go snorkeling to discover the colorful underwater world around Ballena Island. The paddle back to the beach is a great opportunity to observe marine wildlife.
Kayaking Waves & Caves: Kayaks are lauched at Ventanas Beach for a 1-hour paddle to the caves. You will see one of the most beautiful places of the area, over 30 caves and 2 of them are accessible by kayak depending on the ocean conditions. After visiting the caves, you are taken to one of the most beautiful beaches of the area, Ventanas Beach, where you are served a tropical lunch with fruit and cold drinks. In Ventanas, there are 2 caves you can explore during low tide. You can also enjoy and have fun surfing the waves on your kayak. After all the fun, you paddle back to the take out point: Piñuelas Beach.
