Famous “Corcovado National Park” – Full Day Adventure Tour!

The Corcovado National Park is a tropical jewel with over 52,000 hectares of primary and secondary forest, beaches, and spring waterfalls. It is considered by National Geographic "the most biologically intense place on Earth in terms of biodiversity" it is ideal to observe wildlife; scarlet macaws, two toed and three toed sloth, silky anteater, all four types of monkeys in Costa Rica including the endangered squirrel monkey, among others.

The tour starts at 8:00 am from Sierpe, a 1.5-hour boat ride will take you through mangrove swamps where you can spot wildlife such as monkeys, birds and caimans in their natural habitat. Then you will reach the ocean toward the National Park San Pedrillo Station. At the park, you will do an easy 3 to 4 hours hike, and have lunch. The bilingual guide will stop at the waterfalls for a short refreshing swim.

This is a great option for adventure. Adults and kids over 6 years are welcome.

Recommended for those who prefer short hikes.

A minibus will pick you up  in  Uvita at 6:30a.m. to go to Sierpe that is approximated one hour 15 minutes drive. In Sierpe, there are 30 minutes if you decided to have breakfast  (not included in the price of the tour) before the next departure. OR you can drive directly to Sierpe and meet at 8:00 am.

Then, it will be a 1.5-hour boat ride first through Sierpe mangrove swamps (a great chance to spot wildlife such as crocodiles, monkeys, birds, sloth) and then through the ocean toward the National Park San Pedrillo Station . At the park, you will do a hike  from 3 to 4 hours and then have lunch. You will return to Uvita  around 4-5  pm.
